DA NSF Diversion Program

| The Sacramento County District Attorney's Office has formed a
partnership with the Sacramento County Department of Revenue Recovery (DRR)
to operate the Non-Sufficient Check (NSF) Diversion Program. As the experts
in providing billing and collection services for Sacramento County government,
DRR will handle all of the processing and accounting for NSF check complaints
received. The District Attorney's Office will continue to issue arrest warrants
for bad check writers who write checks on closeds accounts, write NSF checks with
the intent to defraud the victim, and opt not to participate in the diversion program.
