Payment Information

Payments can be made:

  • by credit card over the phone or internet,
  • by electronic check over the phone or internet,
  • or ATM/debit card if it has the Visa/Master Card symbol,
  • mailed to DRR,
  • in person.

DRR accepts payments from third-parties, for example, a friend or relative may send a check or use their credit card to make a payment on your account. They will need your Revenue Recovery account number.

To pay your account by credit card, electronic check or ATM/debit (electronic payment):

  • If you wish to pay by credit card, electronic check or ATM/debit, you may do so from home or from DRR's lobby over the courtesy telephone.

  • The telephone number to Official Payments Corp. is 1-800-272-9829 and jurisdiction number is: 1509

  • Please note, there is a processing fee for using Official Payments services, which is added to your existing balance and is paid to the credit card processing agency.

  • You may also make a credit card, electronic check or ATM/debit payment over the Internet. More information for electronic payments can be found on our electronic payment information page.

  • It is important to have your DRR account number available before beginning the electronic payment process. If you don't know your account number, please call (916) 875-7500 to speak to a DRR representative.

Confirmation Number (for credit card,electronic check and ATM/debit payments only):

  • Once the electronic payment transaction is completed, Official Payments will provide you with a confirmation number

  • If there is a warrant associated with your account, please call (916) 875-7500 to provide the confirmation number to a DRR collection specialist or email the confirmation to DRRMail@saccounty.net.

  • If there are warrants attached to your account, this will expedite the clearing of the warrant within one (1) business day, otherwise, it may take up to five (5) days to clear the warrant, and you are still subject to arrest until the warrant is cleared.

To make a payment by mail:

  • Please use a check or money order for mailed payments, do not send cash.

  • Include the return portion from your statement. If you don't have the return portion of the statement, write your account number on the check or money order. Your social security number can be substituted for the account number.

  • Mail payments to:

  • Please ensure your return address is on the envelope in case DRR needs to contact you regarding the payment.

To make a payment in person:

  • You may make payments in person in the DRR lobby from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, at 4100 Branch Center Drive, Sacramento or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at 700 H Street, Sacramento, 1st Floor Monday thru Friday, excluding holidays (see the hours of operation page for holiday listings).

  • You may pay by check, money order or cash. If you want to pay by credit card from the lobby, you will be directed to a courtesy phone. If your account is a result of a food stamp over issuance, food stamp coupons may be surrendered as payment instead of cash.
